Lake Natron River camp is a 3 star mid- range accommodation found alongside the main road just south of Natron Village , close to Lake Natron areas of Northern Tanzania. The camp is situated approximately 5-6 hours’ drive from Nairobi city center and an hour flight to the close private airstrip. The camp is convenient for safari adventure especially birding since it’s famous with a lot flamingoes and relaxation perfect base for gateways, romantic dinners to tourists and travellers who want to explore and discover the area with its stunning views, plenty of animals and surrounding areas.
Lake Natron River camp is comprised of 8 permanent spacious and comfortable safari tents overlooking the beautiful views of the lake built in African traditional safari styling with grass thatched roofs with high level of comfort. Each cottages is well furnished and elevated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets , bathroom with hot and cold showers , flushing toilets, free toiletries , chairs and wooden tables , complementary bottled water, hair driers, slippers in the rooms and many more. Each room has large sitting areas and veranda that give a panoramic view of the Ol-donyo lengai mountain and surrounding areas. The rooms have excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There is a fireplace where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during cold periods. The house offers Singles beds for individuals and double beds/ twins for sharing and perfect for family/group rooms with different costs ranging from 250$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season .

They offer breakfasts, Picnic lunch and dinner served by well trained and organized staff. Lake Natron is a salty and alkaline lake found in North Ngorongoro district of Arusha Region in Tanzania East Africa. Lake Natron sits on the lowest point in the Eastern section of volatile East African Rift valley in Northern Tanzania on the border with Kenya. The lake is the breeding grounds for hundreds and thousands of Flamingos with Volcano views and hiking trails. The lake covers the area of 56km long and 24 km wide but water levels keep changing due to Evaporation. There are has zebras, wildebeests, masaai goats, sheep and donkey, a lot of birds especially flamingos. There are several accommodations in lake Natron that are in different categories; budget, mid-range and luxury accommodation which are all friendly and convenient to guests’ visiting lake . There are different activities to do while in Lake Natron Include ; bird watching/birding since the park contains more bird species especially flamingos , Climbing /Hiking the volcano mountains especially Ol-Donyo lengai mountains, visiting ngare sero water falls, nature walks , Masaai Cultural experience walking safaris, game viewing since there are a lot of animals in lake natron and many more activities. From May – Early November is parfect time to Visit Lake Natron, December to Februaryits too hot and in August flamingos always start gathering at the lake .
