How to Get There
Lake Nakuru national Park can be accessed by both road and air. By road, travelers can use the tarmac road connection with Nairobi which is about 156km west of the capital. The most commonly used road rout is via the main gate only about 4km from Nakuru Town Centre. Travelers can also enter Lake Nakuru National Park from the main Nairobi-Nakuru road of Lanet Gate. Travelers coming from Masai Mara or Elementaita can get to the park much easily via the Nderit Gate.
By air, travelers can take flights to the Naishi airstrip.

The other lake Nakuru National Park gate is the Old Main gate located in the north western side of the park.
