Lake Mburo national park is an excellent destination for tourists looking for the best kind of adventure in Uganda, Lake Mburo national park between the towns of Masaka and Mbarara, close to the main South western road that links Kampala City to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, as well as Kabale and the Rwandan border makes it one of the best areas to have a visit at.

Lake Mburo national park was first established as a controlled hunting area in 1933 and later on in the reign of President Milton Obote it was named a national in 1983.
