Kituri selous camp is a mid -range accommodation found in the northern banks of River Rifii, just 15 minutes from Mtemera gate selous and south east part of the famous Selous game reserve now called Nyerere national park Tanzania region. The camp is approximately 5-6 hours’ drive from Dar-el-salam and it takes a full day drive from Arusha city, it is perfect for flights when one is from Arusha taking approximately 2-3 hours flight /an hour flight from Dar-el salaam to the close airstrip then few minutes to drive to the camp. The cam is in the perfect base for safari adventure to tourists and travellers who want to explore the park with its beautiful views and its wildlife.
Kituri Selous camp consists of three spacious and comfortable bandas overlooking the great views of the river and the park reflecting traditional building style with palm thatched roofs, local woods. Bandas are well decorated, elevated on a raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilet, bathroom with hot and cold running showers, solar energy available, beds wrapped with mosquito nets, slippers, free toiletries, white duvets, towels and bathrobes complementary bottled water to mention but a few . Bandas have terraces and large sitting area you relax while overlooking the spectacular view over the river and the surrounding areas. Bandas are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen and king sized poster beds.
Bandas vary in different sizes with single beds for individuals, double bed/ twins for sharing and family tent for group. The camp has cracking fireplaces where guests can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests during cold days.

Selous game reserve is Africa’s largest and oldest game reserve situated in the protected areas in South Eastern Part of Tanzania Region along the safari circuit. The best time to visit selous game reserve is during the dry season from June to October when game clusters around the waterhole.
