Tungamalenga lodge and Campsite is a budget accommodation situated in the southern Highlands, Tungamalenga village ,outside the famous Ruaha national park in Tanzania. The lodge is surrounded by the green gardens and situated in the perfect place approximately 2km from THE Park which gives tourists a chance to explore Ruaha National Park with its beautiful views. The best way to travel to Ruaha national park from ARUSHA CITY is a flight that takes 5-6 hours to the close Msembe airstrip then 30 minutes to be transferred to the lodge. It’s very far by road taking about 941 km .
Tungamalenga lodge consists of 10 spacious and comfortable rooms overlooking the beautiful gardens equipped with en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers, mosquito nets , wooden chairs and tables , extinguishers, free bottled water in the rooms , free toiletries, hand wash basin , coffee making facilities ,white curtains to mention but few . There are also camping grounds for camp lovers and backpackers with tents for hire.
Each room has a large Veranda out of the front, with a large Interior sitting areas and private balconies that give a stunning view of the surrounding environment. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds with clean beddings .Rooms are in different sizes with singles bed with individuals, doubles beds for couples / twins, and family rooming options with different costs ranging from 150$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

Bush breakfasts are also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky.

Ruaha national park is the second largest national park in Tanzania after Nyerere national park found in the south of the central mid- point of Tanzania and west of Iringa Town . The park was established in 1964 and It covers the total area of 20,226 square kilometers (7,809 ) square miles The Park is most visited and has different categories of accommodations that include Budget, Mid- range/ moderate and Luxury/expensive accommodations that are convenient and affordable to any travelers, tourists visiting the park.
