Kaskaz Mara Camp is referred to as a Mid- Range accommodation owned and Run by Nasikia camps that operate best and different accommodations across Tanzania region (Serengeti and Tarangire national park). The camp is situated in the Northern Region of Serengeti national park surrounded by the Acacia trees overlooking Nyamalumba Hills on the southern side of the Mara River where picturesque river crossing of the great Migration occurs from June to October that gives travellers, tourists a chance to see thousands of wildlife crossings. One can be at the camp taking approximately 6-7 hours’ drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close kogatende airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp while on Tanzania Safaris Tours.
Kaskaz Mara camp consists of 10 en suite comfortable and comfortable tents overlooking the incredible scenic Serengeti plains and beautiful acacia trees. Tents are well decorated, elevated and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilet, Bush showers with hot and cold water , sink safari bucket, 24/7 electricity energy available, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries, free bottled water , pillows and white duvets, bathrobes, white curtains, slippers and other facilities .
Tents have verandas and sitting area overlooking the spectacular view over the Serengeti plains and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. The camp has Cracking fireplaces pit where guests can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Tents have single beds for individuals, double bed for two people /couple and triple rooming option for a group or family with different costs ranging from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
