Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the airport, you shall be picked up by your guide. Your guide will welcome you and brief you about your Tanzania safari. You will proceed to drive to your hotel in Arusha where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Tarangire national park which is known for its large herds of elephants. You will also look out for the various wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hartebeest, wildebeest, elands, impalas and many bird species.
After lunch, you shall proceed into the wilderness of the national park to engage in a game drive. You will enjoy looking out for wildlife species during your safari such as elephants, dik dik, leopards, buffalos, gazelles among others as you proceed to start of your walking safari. This national park also has over 500 bird species and you will see different birds during your safari. After having lunch, you will engage in another game drive to explore more attractions and enjoy seeing wildlife species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti national park
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to Serengeti national park to explore the vast savannah plains in search of more wildlife species such as the big 5 like lions, elephants, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. You will have lunch before you engage in an evening game drive to search for wildlife species like zebras, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, kudu, gazelles, hyenas and many others. You will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park. During your morning game drive, you will search for different wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks and many others. You will have your lunch before another game driving experience in the national park in the afternoon.
Your guide will drive you around the national park in the central part of Serengeti national park as you look out for different attractions and wildlife species in the distant plains. You will return to your lodge after this experience for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Ngorongoro crater
You will have breakfast before enjoying yet another game drive as you are leaving Serengeti National Park and driving to your next wildlife viewing destination which is the Ngorongoro crater. You will proceed to your lodge in Karatu. Check in, have lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You have an optional cycling adventure with the children. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you shall together with your packed lunch proceed to experience the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. Return to the lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Drive to Arusha, Departure
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and then proceed for a transfer to Arusha. Depending on your time of departure flight, you shall have a cultural experience in Arusha, visiting the Maasai tribe. You shall then be dropped off at the airport which will bring your safari to an end.
