Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up, Ascend the Kilimanjaro
You shall be picked up from the airport upon arrival, or hotel and be welcomed for your safari. After a short briefing, you shall proceed on a transfer to Kilimanjaro Mountain and start your hike. Walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. Look out for birdlife and colobus monkeys here.
Elevation: 5,500ft-9,000ft. Hike Time: 4-5 Hours. Montane Forest.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mandara Hut
Day 2: Descend and Transfer to Arusha
Leave the rainforest glades and follow and ascend the path of open moorlands towards the Horombo encampment. Enjoy views of Mawenzi and the summit of Kibo. Look out for giant lobelias. After lunch at Mandara, descend and return to Moshi and then proceed to Karatu. Dinner and overnight stay at Masai Land Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Datoga and Hadzabe Tribe Experience
Today you shall get an opportunity to go out hunting with the local Hadzabe tribe and Datoga, do various activities including honey picking with them, making fire locally, and so much more. After lunch, your guide will drive you to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area. You will enjoy a safari in Ngorongoro crater where you will visit the world’s largest in active caldera which is also home to numerous wildlife species such as such as the big 5 as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, elands, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, hartebeests among others.
During the safari, you will also descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater. You will enjoy seeing attractions like Lake Magadi where you will see flamingos along the shores of the lake as well as hippos. Visit the Maasai Bomas for an opportunity to interact with the local Maasai tribe and learn of their way of life.
After this experience, you will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park. You will have lunch in the national park and later you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park.
You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the big 5 and many others during your safari.
During your afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park, you will look out for a variety of wildlife and bird species such as elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, kudus, lions, leopards, impalas, gazelles among others. You will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day Serengeti
After breakfast at your lodge, you will head out with your packed lunch for a full day Serengeti National Park safari experience. Engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park and look out for the wildebeest herds in the savannah plains as well as other wildlife species. You will have lunch ahead of another wildlife experience in the national park.
Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you shall check out of the lodge and get to drive back to Arusha via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying your packed lunch en-route. You shall be dropped off at the airport from where you shall catch your flight to Zanzibar or hotel, bringing your safari to an end.
