Day 1: Arrival, Transfer to Congo
Upon your arrival in Kigali, you shall be picked up by our company guide from the airport, or hotel. You shall be welcomed to your 3 Days Nyiragongo Hike and briefed of the same. You shall then proceed for a transfer to Congo via Gisenyi and the Goma border.
Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, you may have a Kigali City tour giving you an opportunity to explore the historical and cultural sites of Rwanda say the Rwanda Genocide Memorial Site, Markets, among others.

Day 2: Nyiragongo Hike
Wake up early in the morning and after a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, proceed to the starting point of your Nyiragongo hiking adventure. Hiking Nyiragongo Mountain usually starts at 9am, after a briefing about the hike and what you should expect during the Nyiragongo hiking adventure. It is at the starting point that you are advised to hire a porter if you shall need them, who will help you with a pull or push during the hike. You shall then embark on your hike of the Nyiragongo Mountain. The pace of the hike is determined by the group’s least fast member, in the guidance of a guides and security guards. The hike can take about 6 or more hours. You shall have stops for rest, meals, along the hike as well to enjoy the amazing views. You will enjoy views at the summit, which you can watch for a while over a cup of coffee.
You shall be served dinner and an overnight stay at the cabins up in the summit.
Day 3: Descend the Nyiragongo, Departure
You will have breakfast at the summit before you descend the Nyiragongo Mountain, reaching the bottom to find your guide ready for a transfer back to Kigali. You shall be dropped off at your hotel of stay, or at the airport for your outbound flight.
